Far West Management, a leading property management company located in Irvine, CA currently has an opening for a maintenance technician position for its prestigious 304-unit apartment property Aspen Village located in the Santa Ana/Costa Mesa area, right around the corner from South Coast Plaza.

The candidate is required to be on an on-call rotation and must be able to respond to an on-call page within 15 minutes and must be within 30 minutes of travel time within the Santa Ana and the South Coast Metro areas. Candidate must live locally as this is not a "live onsite" position. Drug testing and background check are required.

The hourly salary will range from $18.00 to $21.00 depending on experience; quarterly bonuses and a monthly allowance for tools is also included. This is a full-time position with a great benefit package.

Major Skills Required:
Minimum of 5 years experience in rent-ready apartment preparation including plumbing, electrical, drywall and appliance installation
Strong organization and communication skills
Order parts and maintain inventory supplies as required
Prioritize maintenance calls and follow up to ensure completion of work/project
Handle residents' repair requests in a timely manner

The Ideal Candidate Must:
be energetic, results-oriented, organized, reliable, motivated to work hard, a team player
have all necessary tools
have a clean appearance
have a valid CA Driver license
have reliable transportation
speak fluent English; bi-lingual is highly preferred but not required

Summary of Benefits:
8.5 paid holidays per year
3 weeks of paid vacation per year, earned at 10 hours per month after first 90 days of employment. Rate increases to 4 weeks after 7 years
