R. C. Evans Management Group, Inc. is currently accepting applications for an experienced Maintenance Lead for Mill Trace Village Apartments in Mechanicsville. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and organizational skills and knowledge of all aspects of maintenance operations. The Maintenance Lead oversees all buildings, grounds maintenance, maintenance staff, turnovers and vendors. This job does require you to be on a rotating on-call system. You must be Type II HVAC Certified with 3 years of maintenance experience. You must be able to work independently, supervise, direct and review the work of your maintenance team and communicate with the office staff.

Skills and functions needed for this position include but are not limited to...
* Must have a minimum of 3+ years maintenance experience
* Must be Type II HVAC certified
* Must have strong leadership and organizational skills
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
* Must have strong knowledge of all general areas of maintenance; plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, sheetrock, pool maintenance and appliance repair.
* Must have the ability to follow written and verbal directive
* Must be able to work independently
* Must be able to take on-call emergencies on a rotating on-call system
* Must be a Team Player
* Must be able to work outdoors, and stand for long periods of time
