Assistant Warehouse Manager Job Responsibilities:

Provides assistance to the warehouse manager. Provides materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services; supervising staff.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Job Duties:
• Maintain receiving, warehousing, and shipping operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with QuickBooks Inventory numbers. Building assemblies in QuickBooks to correct inventory according to orders that have been processed.
• Process Returns and Warranties according to the procedures set by the Director of Operations.
• Maintain physical condition and cleanliness of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Coordinate with the warehouse manager for production schedules.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse manager, sales and operational staff.
• Other duties as required by the operations staff and supervisors.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrates Leadership, Supervision, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Surveillance Skills, Inventory Control, Reporting Skills, Analyzing Information, Equipment Maintenance.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Requirements
• High School diploma or GED
• Preferred - 2 year Degree, Associates Degree or Equivalent
• Preferred Leadership Training
• 2 Years Warehouse Experience

Compensation: Depending on qualifications 12-16 dollars per hour
