Our warehouse is in Carol Stream, and we currently have 5 vehicles (3 trucks and 2 vans) that make the daily voyage from Carol Stream to the city, where 99% of our customers are located.

Job Description:
Crafty's Delivery Specialists are the faces of our company. They are the human element of our service and one of the most important roles in this company.
This is a full-time role, and you will be classified as a W2 employee (not a 1099 independent contractor which means that Crafty will cover your payroll taxes for you!).

The compensation package that we offer comes from two sources:
1. Salary: You will be awarded a guaranteed hourly rate of $15/hour for your first year of employment. Overtime and attendance bonuses are also in our pay structure.
2. Healthcare: Full-time Delivery Specialists must work at least 30 hours each week (excluding PTO days of course) to quality for healthcare coverage. Crafty provides a $325 monthly healthcare stipend to be used in Crafty's Blue Cross Blue Shield group policy. We will provide more details on healthcare coverage during the interview process.

Equipment Provided:
+ Crafty will provide you with a vehicle, and we will be responsible for maintaining proper and current insurance.
+ Dollies for deliveries will be provided on behalf of Crafty.
+ Wrenches and other tools for CO2 swaps will be provided by Crafty.

You will need an Illinois State Driver's License and we will run a background check on your driving history.

Parking tickets and violations will go through a resolution process, whereas Crafty may cover the expense if the driver can prove that it was necessary to complete a stop on time. Unnecessary parking tickets will be the responsibility of the driver. Crafty will walk each employee through how we define "necessary" during the interview process.

Day in the life:
This driver will grab the truck from its parking spot in downtown Chicago in the afternoon, take the vehicle to Carol Stream, Illinois where our warehouse is located, assist with loading up this vehicle and other vehicles at the warehouse, and return the vehicle to its parking spot in the city at the end of the day.
While on site in Carol Stream at the warehouse, this role will assist our Warehouse Manager in operational duties & picking at the warehouse.

+ Stop Time: 11:00PM

+ Record of numerous accidents
+ Previous felony offense or criminal record
+ Illegal drug use of any kind
