Delivery Driver/Appliance Installer - Residential Appliances
Permanent, full-time job with benefits.

Company dispatches 2 trucks daily, 2 installers per truck who are dedicated to appliance installations. Driver must have a Class E license with good driving record. Will operate a 24' cargo box truck (under 26,000 lb. GVWR) - manual or automatic.

Prefer a minimum of 2 years of experience in installing appliances such as ovens, ventilation hoods, built-in refrigerators, dishwashers, downdraft cooking systems, etc. Must be well-experienced in all phases involving the hook-up and installation of household appliances.

Person must be reliable, hard-working and demonstrate high quality workmanship.

Required to use appliance dollies to safely and accurately load-out, deliver and install appliances. Must perform work in a completely safe and damage-free manner.

Deliveries may include maneuvering appliances in tight spots as well as up/down flights of stairs.

Appliances range in weight from smaller hand carry items to large built-in appliances (1,000 lbs.).

Must demonstrate good damage control techniques. Required to take special precautions and lay down protection (cardboard, plastic shields, etc.) on special floors (such as wood) and remove when completed.

Required to provide own set of basic tools (pliers, wrenches, nut drivers, tape, level, etc.) for installation of appliances. Special tools such as drills will be provided by the company.

Normal work week is Mon thru Fri, but Saturday work may be required if/when operations require.

Start time normally 06:00 am.

Can expect 40 hrs. per week, under current economic conditions. Could vary in future if business activity changes.
